Play as up to five (mouse & keyboard + 4 controllers) mischievous children left unsupervised in a warehouse. Grab, stack, and throw boxes in this lighthearted puzzle/obstacle course game! You can even grab and throw around your friends.

Controls: (Keyboard/Xbox Controller)

  • Move around - WASD or arrow keys/left stick
  • Grab object - left click/right trigger to grab
  • Move arm - mouse/right stick (trackpads are not recommended)
  • Jump - spacebar/A or left trigger
  • Rotate box - Q+E or Shift+control/X+Y
  • Open pause menu - Tab/Start button

This Side Down was originally made in 2 weeks for the 3to1Studios: Upside Down Game Jam.

This game is in development. Currently known issues:

  • Controller rumble isn't supported in browser
  • I'm pretty sure the Linux downloads don't work

Install instructions

For Macs: Download the file with the apple. Once downloaded, extract the zip file to reveal a this_side_down.app file. Open that to play the game. You will have to get past a security warning.

For Windows, download and extract the zip folder, then open the .exe file. If your computer asks you to, you may need to extract the file and choose "Open Anyway".
